The Camden-Rockland Region offers a variety of activities to keep the whole family happy during Maine's School Vacation Week. Be sure to check out some of these great offerings!

School Vacation Week Art Camp, February 21-23, 9 am to 12 pm. Kids ages 6 to 8 years are invited to join teaching artist Avis Turner for an exploration of art, music, poetry, and stories. Together, we’ll do a fabric weaving inspired by the bookThe Spider Weaver: The Story of Kenti Cloth, and create a crayon-resist watercolor landscape with African animals inspired by bookBringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain—as well as explore other stories, art techniques, and ideas. Children’s Workshops, February 20 – 24, offered at 10am and 1pm each day. Designed for youth ages six to 14, these fun educational workshops are free to the public and materials are provided (suggested donation $5.) Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as seating is limited; children participating in vacation week activities must be accompanied by an adult.

While the Winter Vacation Week activities are free, admission for visitors wishing to view the museum is $14 for adults ($10 for visitors over 65).
