Camden National Corporation Announces Board Retirements and Elections

The Board of Directors for Camden National Corporation (NASDAQ: CAC; “Camden National” or the “Company”), elected Lawrence “Larry” J. Sterrs to succeed Karen Stanley as Chair of the Company and Camden National Bank effective September 17, 2017. Stanley, who joined the Board of Directors in 2008 and became Chair in 2010, retired from the Board on September 17, 2017. Trekkers 7th Annual Auction, November 4

Trekkers’ 7th Annual Auction will take place on Saturday, November 4 at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. Doors will open at 5 pm. The silent auction bidding will take place from 5-7 pm. The live auction bidding with auctioneer Bruce Gamage begins at 7 pm. Hundreds of items will be up for bid, from gift certificates to local stores to unique travel experiences. There is a $10 admission at the door, which includes beverages, hors d’oeuvres and sweets. Trekkers is an outdoor-based mentoring nonprofit organization based in Thomaston that connects young people with caring adults through the use of expeditionary learning, community service and adventure-based education. Unification Community Forum Announced

Coastal Healthcare Alliance, which includes Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC), Pen Bay Physicians & Associates, Quarry Hill Retirement Community, Knox Center, Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH), Waldo County Medical Partners and Penobscot Shores Retirement Community, has been in preliminary unification discussions with other MaineHealth member organizations. This reorganization, or unification proposal, would create a single, system-wide Board of Trustees for MaineHealth and combined financial structure.
