SBA Boots to Business Small Business Training Program - Virtual - Nov 3 & 4

Camden Library Hosts Virtual Art Show by Knox County Art Society

During the month of November, the Camden Public Library will host a virtual art show entitled “Artists Connecting” featuring the works of Knox County Art Society members. The show is an eclectic mix of watercolors, photography, and abstract oils portraying the breadth of talent of local artists. With the recent challenges faced by renters and landlords alike, this issue is affecting more Mainers than ever. Knox County Homeless Coalition (KCHC), in conjunction with Maine State Housing Authority and Midcoast Habitat for Humanity is working on an innovative approach to diverse affordable housing through a model that could be replicated in many rural areas across the country. At the same time KCHC is doubling down on its commitment to addressing public health needs and expanding access to non-congregate shelter that has become increasingly critical during COVID-19 through their “tiny home” project. Lincolnville General Store prepares for Halloween festivities

The Lincolnville General Store will once again host our annual costume contest inside Grampa Hall's (the building across the street from the general store) with photos taken again by Michael O'Neil, though this year there will be some guidelines. Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Donates $6,000 to Nonprofit Organizations

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust will donate $6,000 to several Northern New England nonprofit organizations on behalf of the Bank’s customers. The Bank hosted a poll during its Customer Appreciation Week, held virtually October 12-16, to give the public an opportunity to vote for a nonprofit in their region that has been impacted by COVID-19 and could benefit from a donation from the Bank.
