Bay View Collection, a small group of distinctive, luxury boutique hotels in Camden, Maine whose properties include the Lord Camden Inn, Grand Harbor Inn, and 16 Bay View, announces the addition of Cara Fox to its marketing team as Digital Marketing Specialist.
Cara brings more than 30 years of copywriting, design, and branding strategy experience to the role. She most recently held the Marketing Director position at Maine Media Workshops + College (2018-2019), Rockport, ME, and led branding efforts for the Blue Hill Co-op as Marketing Manager (2017-2018). Cara's tourism and local economy marketing experience includes extensive online and print campaign work for the Town of Taos in Northern New Mexico, strategic planning for arts organizations and centers in New Mexico, and communications development for area chambers of commerce in Waldo and Hancock counties in Maine. She is a graduate of Boston University's College of Communications and a published poet.
Cara replace Samantha Batson, who has worked very successfully in this role for the past two years and will be transitioning to a full-time Digital Marketing & Events Specialist for the company’s sister business, Maine Sport Outfitters with retail locations in Rockport and Camden, Maine.
“With Cara’s extensive marketing and branding background in the arts, travel & tourism industries, she is the perfect person to pick up and expand Bay View Collection’s current digital marketing initiatives and look at other marketing opportunities as the hospitality portfolio continues to grow”, says Matthew Levin, Director of Hotels & Marketing.
Erick Anderson, General Manager for the Bay View Collection, states “we are very excited for Cara to take over this important role for our organization. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and creative eye will be a great asset and I look forward to working with her in building upon the initial success of our digital marketing campaigns.”
